“ Mythological Modes ” is a work that unfolds in an ethereal environment, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in a contemplative space where a mystical atmosphere intertwines with the music. The rhythmic complexities, far from being ends in themselves, assume the noble mission of being the paths along which the listener can walk in search of sublime freedom. This freedom, far from being a wandering delirium, finds its raison d'être in the ardent pursuit of expressiveness.
Freedom and expressiveness, intertwined like the threads of a delicate embroidery, do not antagonize each other, but harmonize. In fact, it is often the hypnotic precision of the rhythms woven into the accompaniment that forges the essential basis for the full manifestation of expression. Like shooting stars in the night sky, the two hands, each with its role, dance in a duet of autonomy, unfolding into pulsating rhythms, sighing melodies, and dynamics that rise and fall like tides obedient to the moon.
In this musical universe, the performer becomes an alchemist, transmuting notes and rhythms into vivid emotions, as if each chord were a palette of colors and each pause, a whisper of infinity. Music is not merely heard, it is felt, it is lived; it becomes a journey through unknown lands, where each bend in the road reveals secrets, each note is a sigh of the soul, each rhythm is the pulse of the heart.
The harp, a celestial and divine instrument, creates an ethereal and mythological atmosphere within this work. Its strings, delicate and golden like the hair of a nymph, intertwine in celestial melodies that evoke the very muses of Olympus. With a masterful touch, the harp weaves a veil of dreams and enchantments, as if it were Orpheus' own lyre, capable of subduing even the gods of Olympus. It is as if Euterpe herself, the muse of music, gently blew upon the strings, causing a symphony to spring forth that transports us to a world where time stands still and passions blossom like rare flowers in a lost garden.
Thus, this piece invites the performer and the listener to embark on a magical journey, where freedom and expressiveness intertwine, where music becomes more than mere sounds, it becomes a sonic poetry that touches the core of the soul and transports us to places where imagination knows no bounds."
